Fiolić Maraština, 0.75 L

Fiolić Maraština, 0.75 L

Maraština is one of the oldest indigenous white grapes of Dalmatia — an aromatic, sun-loving variety that has been quietly making the white wines of the Adriatic for centuries. In the hands of the Fiolić family from the Zadar region, it gives a wine of real character: pale gold in the glass, with aromas of ripe pear, golden apple, dried Mediterranean herbs, almond, beeswax and a fine, salty mineral edge from the karst soils.Dry, medium-bodied and beautifully textured, with a long, gently nutty finish that speaks of stone, sun and sea. A natural partner for Adriatic seafood — grilled white fish, brodet, scampi, prawn risotto — and equally lovely with fresh sheep's cheese, a board of pršut, or a simple plate of pasta with olive oil and herbs. Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C.0.75 L · Zadar region, Dalmatia, Croatia · Maraština · Family-made, small batch

Žigljen, 650 g

Žigljen — Gligora's celebrated aged classic, made from a traditional blend of sheep's and cow's milk and matured to develop deep character. Liburjan, 650 g

Liburjan, 650 g

Named for ancient Liburnia — the pre-Roman coastal culture that once spanned Croatia's northern Adriatic — Liburjan is Gligora's homage to the region's shepherding heritage. A firm, aged cheese made from a traditional blend of sheep's, cow's and goat's milk — the three milks that shaped Adriatic dairy tradition. The three-milk base delivers uncommon complexity: depth and character from sheep, creamy body from cow, brightness and clean herbal tang from goat — all layered into a beautifully balanced whole with a clean lactic depth, a lightly saline finish, and a hint of Mediterranean herbs from the pastures of Pag.This 650 g quarter wheel is the serious format for the cheese-board lover — shave it over risotto and salads, or place it as the star of a board with Malvazija, Pošip or a lighter Plavac Mali, alongside olives, honey and cured meats.650 g · Sirana Gligora, Kolan, Pag Island, Croatia · Sheep's, cow's & goat's milk blend · Aged · Quarter wheel

Pag Cheese PDO

Pag cheese is our most famous and most awarded cheese. Although it represents less than 15% of our total cheese production, it is the flagship of our production and a synonym for the globally recognised quality of Gligora. It is also the first cheese with which Ivan Gligora won the first international recognition for a Croatian cheese, and it remains the most awarded Croatian cheese. Pag cheese is a limited product, obtained exclusively from sheep's milk from the island of Pag. Its limited nature is tied to the total number of Pag sheep that can freely graze on the pasturelands of the island of Pag. In addition to its own smaller flock, the Gligora Creamery buys Pag sheep's milk from around a hundred families on the island of Pag in most of the island's settlements, and does so daily during the milking season – which runs from January to the end of June. Pag cheese is produced by a traditional process.
