The animals are kept on pasture, and the untouched nature of this area directly affects the quality and aroma of the cheese. Inspired by the simplicity and tradition of a "težački" (farmer's) life, this cheese is the result of a desire to keep a primal, natural cheese production. Though a newer member of the Gligora cheese family, it very quickly gained popularity and became one of the best-selling.
