Gligora Težački cheese is a unique hard cheese made from 100% cow's milk. Inspired by the simplicity and tradition of the rural lifestyle, this cheese is the result of a desire to preserve the original, natural cheese-making methods. Though a newer addition to the Gligora cheese family, it quickly became one of our bestsellers.

The production of Težački cheese is based on the simple yet reliable technology developed by Ivan Gligora through Kolan cheese, with Šime Gligora wanting to bring the process even closer to authentic, natural methods. The label of this cheese features Šime's maternal grandfather, Jure Šmit, the first farmer Šime met.

Težački cheese is known for its rich aroma and firm texture. It matures between 2 to 6 months, and with its well-balanced flavor and the simplicity of its production process, it has earned multiple prestigious awards both locally and internationally. Bronze medal winner at the World Cheese Awards in the UK in 2012, followed by GOLD in 2014.

Storage: 4-6°C; 75-80% humidity

Note: cheeses ordered through the webshop are sent by delivery service, in cardboard packaging, in summer months in thermal packaging. All cheeses are vacuum packed (whole wheel, half or quarter).
