Valomet is a local, Vrbnik name for a rock on which a sea wave breaks, the sea turns into foam in this way.
The base wine of this sparkling wine is Zlatna Vrbnička Žlahtina. It is produced using the traditional method of fermentation in bottles.
The sparkling wine is crystal clear and transparent. The taste is mild, full of bubbles, and pleasantly refreshing. The overall impression permeates the character of excellence.
Ripening and aging lasts a minimum of 20 months, the bottles are turned manually, and the yeasts are removed (degrease) immediately before delivery. Sparkling wine "Valomet" is without liquor and without residual sugar, it can also be consumed by diabetics.
Fermentation takes place in bottles for 90 days, followed by a period of aging on yeasts for at least two years.
Sparkling wine can be consumed as an aperitif, an independent drink - it does not have to be with food. It also goes well with many types of dishes, coastal and continental cuisine.
