Plavac mali is the most significant Croatian autochthonous red variety of wine, with exceptional potential, created by crossing the Crljenak (Primitivo) and Dobričić varieties. It best expresses its varietal characteristics in vineyards on rocky slopes with southern exposures, which, like in Punta Skala, are exposed to the triple insolation of sun, sea and stone.
TASTING NOTES
It is characterized by a deep ruby color and an accentuated body. Its taste is harmonious, drinkable, full of structure and excellently balanced tannins. The wine is extractive, dominated by fruity aromas of ripe cherries and plums, stout and luxurious with an elegant finish.
