Kolan cheese is a cow's milk cheese from the Croatian Kordun area matured in the wine press.
This cheese is aged for 4 months or more, with the fact that it gets its special aroma precisely from additional ripening in wine must!
This cow's milk cheese refined in the wine must of local wineries such as Boškinac or Vina otoka Paga, as with all refinements, combines the best from the island or the surrounding region.
The skin contains the remains of grapes, i.e. wine grapes, which give a special smell and taste to this Gligora classic.
