Tomaz Malvasia Nera is an exceptional example of red wine crafted through a careful production process. The Malvazija Nera grapes are dehydrated on the vine, resulting in higher concentrations of sugar and extract. After 30-40 days of maceration, the wine matures in oak barrique barrels for 18 to 24 months, followed by further blending and bottle ageing to achieve perfect harmony of flavors. This wine delights with complex aromas that evolve in the glass – from ripe red fruits like raspberries and strawberries to dried herbs and spices, with unexpected notes of ripe tomatoes. With 15% alcohol and a rich, layered taste, Tomaz Malvazija Nera offers a unique experience. It pairs excellently with hearty meat dishes such as veal, white meats, and tagliata, but can also surprise as a companion to fish prepared with Mediterranean herbs. It is recommended to serve Malvazija Nera at a temperature of 16-18°C.
