Note: cheeses ordered through the webshop are sent by delivery service, in cardboard packaging, in summer months in thermal packaging. All cheeses are vacuum packed (whole wheel, half or quarter).

The milk for Velebjan is sheep's milk from Lika and goat's milk from Dalmatia, and the cheese is made and aged in Pag, a combination of the best. Our cheesemakers did not hesitate to find the ideal combination, it is 50:50. The cheese was created in 2015, and was quickly accepted as a new and interesting Gligora cheese.

Hard cheese, pronounced aromas of goat's and sheep's milk, perfectly balanced ratio. The dough is structured and light, rounded, and clearly defined aromas predominate, with a sweet aftertaste.
