Product description

Velebjan is a premium hard cheese made from a perfect blend of sheep's milk from Lika and goat's milk from Dalmatia. Created in 2015, this exceptional cheese quickly gained popularity for its unique flavor combination. It is made and aged on the island of Pag, under the influence of the Bura wind, which gives the cheese its distinctive character.

With its pronounced flavors of goat and sheep milk, Velebjan offers a perfectly balanced taste. The texture is light and structured, with clearly defined aromas and a sweet aftertaste. This cheese is versatile, making it perfect for everything from sandwiches to gourmet appetizers.

Velebjan is a pasteurized cheese, aged for 3-6 months, and is best stored at temperatures between 4-16 °C.

Note: cheeses ordered through the webshop are sent by delivery service, in cardboard packaging, in summer months in thermal packaging. All cheeses are vacuum packed (whole wheel, half or quarter).
