Tribidrag is known in the United States as Zinfandel and in Italy as Primitivo, this Croatian autochthonous variety, therefore, has several synonyms. However, the most important thing for us is the name Tribidrag, as well as the fact that Tribidrag was highly valued in Croatian history. There are records that say that the leading Croatian poets of the 15th century (Marulić, Hektorović) had Tribidrag as wine and vine, that we exported it to France and Italy, and that a song was also sung about this variety/wine in the 18th century, which glorifies him. Our Tribidrag comes from our ecological vineyards that descend all the way to the sea. We blend the wine with the international variety Tempranillo (up to 15%), thus creating a perfect blend that does not lose the identity of the Tribidrag variety.
