The black Slavonian pig is a rare autochthonous breed that is bred in a traditional way. It moves freely in pastures and forest grazing with small amounts of grain. Growing a Slavonian pig takes up to three times longer than growing a normal pig. With a particularly high proportion of intramuscular fat, the meat is distinguished by its superior quality and exceptional taste.
