Kraljevski vinogradi Gladiator 2019 Punta Skala is a premium red cuvée from 2019, blending the local Plavac Mali (50%) with the globally renowned Merlot (25%) and Syrah (25%). Plavac Mali contributes strength and authenticity, while Merlot and Syrah soften the tannins, creating a harmonious and exceptionally drinkable wine.

Gladiator boasts a deep red color and rich aromas of dark red fruits like cherry, blackberry, and plum, complemented by spicy notes of vanilla and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with smooth tannins and a lasting, pleasant finish. This wine pairs perfectly with Dalmatian appetizers such as prosciutto and semi-aged cheeses, dark fish, red meats, roasted lamb, and pašticada.

The grapes come from the Punta Skala vineyard. Each variety underwent separate fermentation with 10 days of maceration in stainless steel tanks, followed by 10 months of aging in French oak barrels and another year in stainless steel containers. Gladiator is a wine with an elegant French touch, ready to be enjoyed now or cellared for up to ten years under proper conditions.
