Plavac Mali from the Pelješac Peninsula is a premium red wine with 15% alcohol. It is characterized by a ruby red color with slightly brownish edges. The wine delights with rich aromas of dark berries, accompanied by harmonious notes of wood that develop over time. It has a full body, lively flavor, and freshness, with pronounced ripe and fresh fruit, combined with subtle hints of oak.
The pleasant acidity makes it perfect for immediate enjoyment, but it can also be aged for up to 6 years, gaining additional depth over time. It pairs wonderfully with salted fish, meat dishes, and aged cheeses. It is recommended to be served at 16-18°C, and for the best experience, the wine should be decanted for at least 2 hours before consumption.
