The Kolan Extra Aged Cheese matures for 12 months, during which it loses up to a third of its weight, resulting in a firmer texture and a more intense, sharper flavor. The cheeses are regularly maintained, turned, and oiled to ensure top quality and richness of flavor.
Stored at an optimal temperature of 8-10°C, the Kolan Extra Aged Cheese is an excellent choice for lovers of cheeses with character and bold flavor. This cheese has also won numerous international awards, confirming its exceptional quality and rich aroma.
Ideal for fans of hard cheeses, Kolan Extra Aged is perfect as a stand-alone delight or paired with various dishes.
Note: cheeses ordered through the webshop are sent by delivery service, in cardboard packaging, in summer months in thermal packaging. All cheeses are vacuum packed (whole wheel, half or quarter).
