Juicy, ripe, and smooth tannins, perfectly balanced with an unusual freshness and rich fruitiness, leave a soft, delicate, yet pleasantly tannic finish. The young Plavac Mali is characterized by a granite purple color with blue reflections, while the more mature versions take on a deep ruby red hue. The wine is layered with aromas of ripe dark fruit, herbal nuances, carob, cloves, chocolate, cinnamon, and sweet spices.
