A more moderate variant of Boškinac, and where the name Boškinčić comes from - little Boškinac. This blend is a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. A fresher and younger wine, with a lighter body and more pronounced aromas of fresh berries, but as it has spent time in a wooden barrel, that influence is also felt. It is not overripe, it has good vivacity, and it also shows hints of third aromas, earth, leather, and tobacco.
Boškinčić pairs excellently with meat dishes such as veal steak, roast meats, and lamb. It can also be served with tuna grilled and squid.
