Notturno, i.e. Syrah, wine has an intense dark purple color, enriched with aromas of blackberries with discreet notes of pepper, coffee and dark chocolate. It is characterized by extractives, alcohol 14.0 vol % and pronounced tannicity.
The 2016 vintage is also our first Syrah vintage, the grapes are from our own plantations, and the characteristics of the year made it possible to obtain top-quality wine. The modern and controlled primary processing technology was complemented by a two-year maturation in barrique oak barrels, with different degrees of ignition. With this combination, we were able to preserve and emphasize the characteristics of the variety, which are refined by aging with harmonious aromas of oak wood.
Notturno is a strong wine, so look for such dishes as well. It goes best with red meat, blue fish, spicy cheeses, stew and forest fruit desserts.
