For all those who like light, fluttering and refreshing wines, Žutica is an ideal choice. The dominant raw material base for this wine is the varieties Trebbiano Toscano (Ugni Blanc). For superficial connoisseurs of winemaking, this name does not evoke special emotions. And as Plato said in Socrates' Defense: Nothing is so reprehensible as ignorance. Thus, we must warn the above-mentioned ignoramuses that this variety is not from yesterday, Pliny the Elder mentions it in his capital work "Naturalis historia" as Trebulanum. It is to be assumed that Pliny and his contemporaries like Apicius (a famous ancient gastronomer) enjoyed this wine in the same way as you could in Žutica, just to try it.
